Press Release THROWING STONES A New Play by Christopher John Ball and Dean Sipling Directed by Anton Krause. "What's in your family album?" THROWING STONES , the debut play by Christopher John Ball and Dean Sipling opens at the Greenwich Playhouse for a four week run from 6th September - 2nd October 2005 THROWING STONES explores the decline of Adam Lazenby, a successful photographer, when he is accused of producing ‘indecent’ images. He protests his innocence, but as the police probe and tabloid reporters pick over his life, even those closest to him begin to have their doubts. His professional life falls apart, friends desert him and he risks losing his young daughter. But how much has he brought upon himself? And what are the police really looking for? Controversial, complex and contemporary, THROWING STONES is an outspoken drama torn from today’s headlines. Christopher John Ball is a widely exhibited and published, award winning, fine arts photographer. His images have been showcased in Italian, Hong Kong SAR, British, mainland Chinese publications and television programmes that have been transmitted worldwide. Dean Sipling has worked in Film and TV drama for over 10 years. Projects include BBC's Casualty, Scarlet Pimpernel and David Copperfield. His most recent credits are as Line Producer on Channel 4’s BAFTA-nominated drama Teachers. Anton Krause returns to the Greenwich Playhouse to direct THROWING STONES following his work on the acclaimed Melomoth's productions of The Two Gentlemen of Verona and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
