Our biggest news is the announcement of the online spectacular:

'Dark Desires & Passionate Love' A celebration of Sexuality.

This will run from Saturday October 1 st through to Wednesday 30 th November 2005. All forms of erotic art will be included: Painting – Sculpture – Photography - Original prints – Publications – Writing – Poetry – Performance – Music – Video – Ceramics – Illustration – and more.

This is an ‘open’ internet based exhibition for all UK and international artists of erotica including those that are not members of the Association.

Each artist will be represented with their own section and can feature any form of promotion, any number of images and supporting material. A short film slide show sequence with sound/music will be created from images and supporting material. All images will be featured on individual pages and navigated by click through buttons.

Throughout the exhibition there will be a number of events and artists demonstrations that will be broadcast (not web-cam) live including a private view party. All events after being broadcast live will be broadcast as programs and be available as downloads throughout the run of the exhibition. We will also broadcast other programs created especially for this event. After the exhibition the show - along with the broadcast material - will available as a DVD.

The Association will initiate 2 Awards:

1. Award for best Association member as voted for by fellow members. This will be for quality of work and involvement with the association.
2. Award for best artist as nominated by a visitor’s poll to the internet exhibition. This will be open to all exhibiting artists.

No commission will be taken from any work sold or commissions gained. Credit card facilities will be available over the telephone for sales.

There is a one off fee of just £30 per artists to be a part of this exciting venture. Fee can be paid by cheque made payable to Art2b or by credit card by calling 020 8991 5044

For artists wishing for more promotional impact (this is optional) Paul will produce a short promotional film using video, stills, interviews, voiceover, sound and music to create an ad to impress, 2 minutes in duration. Stills can be made dynamic with transitions, pan, tilt and zoom techniques. Each film will be included during broadcasts and available as a download. There is a fee of £50 for the creation of this film from materials provided.

For further promotional opportunities we will be looking to make short programs up to 15 minutes in duration for artists. If you have an idea then please discuss this with Paul or Chris now as this will be very time consuming. There will be no fee charged for making a short program and Paul will create a short promo film for you for free too.

All materials for the exhibition must be submitted by September 1 st 2005 or earlier.
