Ian David Baker.
Ian was born in London and was awarded the Surrey Certificate in Art and Design after studying at Epsom Art School between 1960 and 1964.
He has worked as a graphic designer in advertising agencies and studios, both in England and Denmark. He has also taught Graphics at East Ham College, and Art and Photography at Ruam Rudee International School, Bangkok, Thailand. In addition Ian has been a DJ and has took to the stage as a singer in a blues band.

As a freelance artist Ian has illustrated children's education publications, teenage romance stories, has supplied cartoons for newspapers and magazines, both in London and Bangkok, and has been employed as an editor, journalist, photographer and designer across a wide variety of periodicals.

Ian has been exhibiting drawings and photography extensively since 1980, in both group and one person shows, in the UK, Germany and Thailand. Examples of his fine art and photography have been published in art books and magazines.
From 1991-1995 Ian worked as a newsreader and music presenter on English Language radio in Bangkok, Thailand. From 2000-2002 he took time out to rediscover his painting. Ian lived in Holland for 1 year, painting and making photographs, before returning to London in 2003 where he continues with his work.
