'Hourglass: The
Art of the Corset' - Brighton 2009
Call for artworks
around a theme.
'She Said'
in Brighton will be holding a small but perfectly formed visual art exhibition
for the May Fringe Festival. The exhibition is entitled 'Hourglass: The
Art of the Corset' and will compliment the fact that 'She Said' specialise
in corsetry. The exhibition will consist of original paintings and photography
of the highest quality and will be displayed from 26th April until the beginning
of June 2009.
'She Said' have advertised the exhibition in the Fringe Guide (over 135,000
copies printed and distributed) and on the official Fringe Website. They anticipate
a large audience, not least as many people will be drawn to the little alley
to also visit the infamous 'Impure Art Gallery' and Association member Jamie
McCartney's gallery.
