Dimitar Kostadinov
Born in Bulgaria in 1971, Dimitar has lived and worked in different countries in Europe and has recently moved to UK after his last assignment in The Netherlands. He works for a major camera brand and is an enthusiast photographer. As an art form, photography is for Dimitar a way to recharge and survive after the long days and years of corporate culture. A way of life, rather then a tool to make a living, it allows him the freedom to explore and enjoy.

After a period of free documentary style of picture making, which led to increasing development bills and, for Dimitar, hardly any decent images, he realized that it is not quantity that counts. Sometimes less is more. Even now, having completely switched to digital, he continues to be very selective of the pictures that he makes and exhibits. He enjoys the play of light over the body. For Dimitar the abstract forms that it creates can be both subtly erotic and powerful. He is also interested in other styles of erotic photography.

Dimitar is an active member of various on-line photography forums in Bulgaria and Russia. His images are currently part of combined exhibition of nude photography in a gallery in Sofia.
