Clive Arnold
Clive was born in the Blackdown Hills of Somerset (UK) in 1954. Although the son of a professional artist, he found he had no particular talent with brush or pencil himself, and so believed the gift had passed him by. Then, in 1999, he was introduced to the world of digital photo manipulation - and bang - there it was!

In his compositions Clive almost exclusively works on pictures with erotic overtones, and utilizes the same artistic licence as traditional artists regarding the manipulation of light and colour to emphasize the qualities of the subject. His main criteria are to ensure that a composition convincingly gels into a unified, idealized and sensualized whole that is worthy of the term 'Art'.

Having spent a number of years refining his skills, he likens what he does with photographic elements to what a record producer does with the individual musical parts that make up a recording track - he tweaks, twists and blends them into something that goes to a different place than a musician (photographer) could go unaided.
