John Marcus was born in Leeds where he enjoyed a rural childhood in Yorkshire, England. He believes that life provides forever shifting personal perspectives that make each of us uniquely dynamic beings. True beauty for him is all around in the people he encounters every day, and it is these people he asks to sit for him.
